Thousands of Haitians arrive in Monterrey seeking safety and opportunity, straining shelters and services. HBMI offers healthcare, support, and the hope of Christ to those beginning a new life…
Tapachula is Mexico’s main entry point, where over 43,000 Haitians have sought asylum in a single year. HBMI welcomes them with guidance, compassion, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the midst of crisis and instability, Haitian families face poverty and despair. HBMI partners with local churches to strengthen faith, serve communities, and share the hope of Christ.
Facing political, social, and economic turmoil, many families in Haiti have fallen into despair while countless others have been forced to leave. Scattered across the globe in vulnerable conditions, survival often overshadows hope. Christ’s mission is now more urgent than ever.
Under the leadership of the Florida Haitian Baptist Fellowship, and with the support of the Florida Baptist Convention, HBMI is committed to mobilizing, supporting, and equipping Haitian Baptists worldwide to live out their faith, disciple others, and advance the Great Commission through evangelism, church planting, and compassionate service in their host nations and beyond.

On behalf of the FBC, I celebrate the vision and dedication of Haitian leaders who faithfully answer the call of the Great Commission. Your passion for the gospel and your courage to serve Haitian communities beyond their homeland reflect a vision we deeply share. We are honored to partner with you as you proclaim Christ, plant churches, and bring hope to Haitians in Mexico and across the nations.

I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to join hands with the Haitian Baptist Missions Initiative. At Bethel Evangelical Baptist Church, we believe that following Christ means not only worshiping Him but also answering His call to go, to serve, and to make disciples. Bringing our church into this initiative has strengthened our faith and renewed our vision for the Great Commission. It is a blessing to be part of what God is doing through this movement.

“During my mission trip to Monterrey, I saw firsthand the challenges Haitian migrants face—limited healthcare, language barriers, and the heavy weight of starting life over. Through the Haitian Baptist Missions Initiative, I was able to use my nursing skills to provide care and encouragement, while also sharing the hope we have in Christ. It was a moving experience to serve and to remind my Haitian brothers and sisters that they are not forgotten.”
